The Association is established for an indefinite period and carries out its activities primarily in Catalonia.

Purposes and Areas of Activity

In accordance with its Articles of Association, ACET’s main areas of activity are:

• artistic and cultural production;
• culture, art and gastronomy;
• development of cultural and gastronomic projects;
• support for the production and promotion of activities;
• international cooperation and projects;
• preservation of cultural, artistic and gastronomic heritage;
• cultural dissemination and awareness;
• education and training;
• promoting sustainability in culture and gastronomy;
• promoting the creation of collaborative networks among artists, creators;
• researchers, companies, institutions and public and private organisations.

To fulfil these purposes, ACET develops or promotes activities such as exhibitions, concerts, festivals, screenings, workshops, conferences, meetings, congresses, publications and other cultural projects.

The General Assembly is the Association’s decision-making body and the Board of Directors is its executive body.

In accordance with the Articles of Association, the Association’s financial resources may derive, among other sources, from:

• membership fees approved by the General Assembly;
• income derived from the organisation of activities;
• donations, inheritances and legacies;
• grants from public bodies, organisations and private individuals;
• returns generated by the Association’s resources;
• other sources of income compatible with its statutory purposes.

Financial information that must be made public under applicable legislation will be included in this section once approved by the competent bodies of the Association.

Public Grants and Funding

ACET will publish in this section information relating to public grants and funding received, where applicable, including, as appropriate:

• the awarding body;
• the project or activity funded;
• the amount awarded;
• the purpose of the funding.

The information will be updated in accordance with the transparency obligations applicable to the Association.

Public Agreements and Collaborations

Where applicable, relevant information will be published regarding agreements, arrangements or collaborations entered into with public administrations, institutions and public bodies.
