The Articles of Association constitute the legal and organisational framework of the Asociación Cultural España y Turquía (ACET) and govern its purposes, activities, governing bodies and internal operation, as well as the rights and obligations of its members.

Nature and Scope

The Asociación Cultural España y Turquía is a non-profit organisation established for an indefinite period and endowed with its own legal personality.

The Association carries out its activities primarily in Catalonia and may undertake projects and collaborations related to its purposes in other territories.

Purposes of the Association

In accordance with its Articles of Association, ACET’s main purposes include:

• promoting artistic and cultural production and creation;
• promoting culture, art and gastronomy in Spain and Türkiye;
• developing cultural and gastronomic projects;
• supporting the production and promotion of initiatives developed by individuals, institutions and cultural stakeholders;
• promoting international cooperation projects and partnerships;
• contributing to the preservation and enhancement of cultural, artistic and gastronomic heritage;
• promoting cultural dissemination and awareness;
• developing educational and training programmes;
• promoting sustainability in culture and gastronomy;
• promoting the creation of collaborative networks among artists, creators, researchers, companies, institutions and public and private organisations.

To fulfil its purposes, ACET may develop and participate in exhibitions, festivals, concerts, screenings, meetings, workshops, conferences, seminars, congresses, publications and other cultural and educational projects.

Organisation

The General Assembly, comprising the members of the Association, is the Association’s decision-making body.

The Board of Directors is ACET’s executive body and consists of the positions provided for in the Articles of Association.
